PRIDE Core: Module 12: Understanding and Promoting Preteen and Teen Development (6 hours)

Module 12 addresses key developmental tasks of preteens and teens, barriers and challenges to healthy development that youth in family foster care are likely to experience, and how this ultimately affects the youth’s ability to successfully transition to adulthood. Participants are also guided to develop strategies to promote resilience and healthy development.
